OVERVIEW: The Sawrey House project involved complete property renovation. To the ground floor, works centred around the stripping back and reimagining of an existing modern extension, replacing plumbing, heating, and electrics, and reconfiguring its openings. A large steel lintel provided the backbone to support two large sets of powder blue, traditional aluminium-framed French doors. Bespoke kitchen and boot room cabinetry were fitted onto traditional tumbled limestone floor tiles, running seamlessly from the recreated open-plan kitchen space into a newly instated breakfast/dining room.
