Moor Lane
North Oxfordshire
PROJECT TYPE: Direct to Client
OVERVIEW: A ground floor extension, designed to improve the living experience of its residents. The frontage of this listed property remained unchanged, with structural works affecting only the already much-altered rear section of the property. Works included the removal of a rudimentary kitchen extension and 1980s conservatory, as well as reducing floor levels to achieve seamless transitions from terrace to polished concrete floor to the original flagstones of the old cottage behind. Bespoke kitchen cabinetry sits beneath a newly instated roof lantern. Repositioning of the first-floor dormer created depth for the new flat-roofed extension, featuring concealed gutters and characterised by a deep zinc facia.
