Honeysuckle & Hilda
Little Milton, Oxfordshire
The remodelling of an existing garage to create this floristry studio formed part of a larger property renovation and extension.
The aim of this niche project was to maximise space and light by creating additional apertures and raising the ceiling height. Structural steelworks allowed for a vaulted ceiling, softened by timber clad finish and traditional joinery fittings.
A functional 'concrete' microscreed flooring, made to measure storage and facilities for preserving precious floral matter were all part of the considered design. Sustainable build and materials reuse were prioritised throughout.
All interior design, finishes and fittings were client-led. Initial project drawings were by architect Peter Lee.
“The aim of this niche project was to maximise space and light.”
