Race to The Grove finals day goes with a swing

Congratulations to Austin Siggers and Will Clark, playing for Austin Siggers Building Services, who were crowned our Race to The Grove champions.

The win was hotly contested by runners-up Emmett McGovern and Jason Thomas of Quod Electrical, followed closely by Joshua Carr and Kris Blaszko of Warburton Building Services, and Jack Kennedy and Luke Lewis-Rippington for Chris Lewis Group.

“We didn’t want this to be just another golf day," says Stuart Barr, Founder & Director, Barr Group. "We wanted to create something a bit different, with some healthy competition and a reason for people to keep coming back. First and foremost, it's about raising money for charity, and we’re so grateful to everyone who gave their time and support in this first year. It’s also a great chance to bring our industry partners and peers together. Relationships are what make our work possible, so it was really special to have so many of them joining us.”

A huge thank you to Tricia Cunningham from Lighthouse Charity, who joined us on the day and reminded us exactly why we do this. The support Lighthouse provides to construction workers and their families can be life-changing, and we’re incredibly proud to support their work.
