The Multiskilled Tradesperson role:

As a Multiskilled Tradesperson, you would be working on projects where your broad skill base will be put to use. Ideally you will be trained/experienced in first and second fix carpentry, as well as varied further skills, such as bricklaying, plastering, blockwork, general maintenance, refurbishment, and extension work. Supported by your contracts manager and site manager/foreman you will need to be flexible regarding site location and able to carry out works efficiently and effectively in line with drawings and building regulations requirements.

Specific tasks on site will depend on individual skill-base and experience. Day to day responsibilities would include:

  • Effective team working to ensure the job is complete on time and to a high standard.

  • Keeping own trade and if appropriate building skills, training courses and knowledge up to date.
  • Ensure all site work personally carried out is efficient, effective and in a safe manner with due regard to health and safety requirements and other technical guidance such as building regulations.
  • Be flexible in approach to hours and undertake any other similar duties, as required by the Contracts Manager.
