Assistant Buyer

Role Description
We are seeking an energetic and organised Assistant Buyer to join our procurement team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent business graduate with a strong interest in procurement, organisation and the construction industry. You’ll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier coordination and administrative operations. The role also includes reception duties, giving you a well-rounded understanding of both procurement and office support functions.
This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll gain hands-on experience, benefit from on-the-job training, and have the opportunity to work toward industry-recognised CIPS qualifications.
Ideal Background & Skills
- Recent graduate in Business, Procurement or related field
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills
- Interest or experience in construction or procurement
- Familiarity with admin or purchasing systems
Salary
Starting salary of £25,000 per annum
Working pattern
Day-time, Monday - Friday
In person, Thame head office.
